I found these photos on New York girl Emerson Merrick's blog an apple a day. As I have just started taking analogue photos with the old SLR I bought myself for my birthday I have found myself being drawn towards photography. I love the tone and focus of this series. I think they show a great depth of understanding of both the subject matter, the concept of composition and the workings of the camera. They are a little bit spooky, but I think that there is a real intimacy. I am drawn to the lines of the architecture.
